We have these and love them! We use them almost everyday and they keep liquids cold for at least the nine hours we use them!

Nice looking mugs, but would be even better if the interior were stainless steel instead of just the cosmetic exterior.

Got 3 of these in the last woot off and I love them. They seal perfectly and the handle is a great feature. They don't fit under my Keurig, but using a normal mug to transfer into it is still worth it. BPA free too

vote-for11vote-against

I bought these the last time Woot! sold them. I love them, my coffee stays hotter for longer periods than other travel mugs. Works well with cold drinks as well. They have been dropped many times, glad they were made well. I paid more for them, at this price it's a great deal.

Great! Time for a new one at work anyway.

vote-for5vote-against

how are these packed? If I buy 3 units of 2 each, are they all loose or are they suitably packed for gift-giving?

Can Woot staff or a prior purchaser from Woot address the question, please.

These mugs are amazing. I take one to work in my messenger bag every day. Never had a spill/leak, and my coffee is always hot, even several hours after pouring from the pot.

vote-for3vote-against

That really isn't too bad, considering I've heard good things about the manufacturer for these travel mugs. Being able to store my coffee for a little over 5 bucks is worth it to me :)

vote-for4vote-against

One wooter commented on the amazon page for this item that the "plastic interior holds odors even with multiple washings."

vote-for3vote-against

I owe my friend a travel mug after I put hers in the microwave to reheat her coffee. It had a metal interior and I didn't notice it. The entire office smelled like smoke for hours! Probably days. I was too embarrassed to go back. Note to self, this mug is not microwavable!

@smartheart: When I ordered some a while back, they were loose in the same box. Each wrapped in bubble wrap, but not suitable to give away individually. Also, they don't fit in my car's console cupholder and when I tried it bent the hell out of the side of the cup. The stainless steel exterior is really not very robust. Also, the lid is difficult to screw on properly.

vote-for4vote-against

These are great travel mugs. I have two (that I bought at $6 ea) and I love them. They seal extremely well, a hot cup of coffee stays hot for ~30 mins and warm for maybe another hour. Not a replacement for a thermos but I love them for being liquid-tight and for being about twice as good as a normal cup for keeping my coffee hot.

Easy to open, comfortable to drink from, easy to clean.

vote-for3vote-against

I got these last time. Don't fit in my Chevy's cup holders.

vote-for4vote-against

Maybe I should just say "ditto", but: I got these the last time around and I LOVE them. True, they don't fit under the Keurig, but I tilt it (handle down) and lean it up against the machine and it fills fine (YMMV). I hand-wash mine but the wife put hers in the dishwasher once and the lid gasket came off. Put it back on with no problem, but if you DO put it in the DW, put it in the basket section.

@pwknowles: They fit in my Ford cupholders just fine...;-]

Got two in the last woot-off. They work great, as every one says they seal perfectly. My complaint is that the drink-thru lid is annoying. Coffee seems to dribble out rather than pour. Also when almost empty I need to tip at a high angle which then causes coffee to dribble from the top of the lid down my beard. But that might just be my drinking problem.

vote-for5vote-against

lagervsale, depending how long you need to keep your coffee hot, if you take off the gasket on the lid you will find they sip a lot easier. Regarding the above comments about using in the DW, yes after repeated washings the gaskets will come off. I have since kept them off because it's easier to drink out of them as I just said. I agree about the screw on lids though; they can be annoying sometimes to screw on.

They sent me one in the barrel of condoms that I finally won last wootoff. The lid is very stiff working, but that may improve with use. These are advertised as 16oz but mine said 18oz on the package/label, are there different models?

vote-for4vote-against

Got on Woot a few months ago and hated them. The flow is terribly slow unless the lid is off. They did seal well when completely closed though - no leaks.

vote-for6vote-against

Got 3 last time they were on woot. Really worth it. Gave one each to my parents, they use them every day. They seal perfectly and hold the heat decently for about 2 hours. They take a little getting used to though:

The liquid kind of drizzles out while you're drinking and sometimes you'll want to tip up the mug to get it to flow faster. You'll just end up with a face full of coffee. Instead kind of use your upper lip to push the lid up while drinking and you'll hear a little click and be able to drink freely.

Fully recommend these.

vote-for4vote-against

@smartheart: Mine came loose in a box full of bubble wrap. Each one had a sticker on it with the brand name so people will know they are new. They don't come individually wrapped.

vote-for4vote-against

To everyone above that is having trouble drinking from them; they will still stay hot for close to an hour...just take off the gasket on the lid, problem solved. If it tips over yes it will spill a bit but at a slow flow so not that bad.

vote-for-1vote-against

I bought 2 last time and couldn't open EITHER of them. The mouth opening didn't twist, the whole top didn't twist. What a waste...

vote-for3vote-against

In for one based on the first responses in this thread. And JumboWoot even allowed me to use an expired coupon!

vote-for2vote-against

I love love love my mug. I purchased 4 the first time around and have given 2 away to 2 very happy people. I've just purchased 6 more, so I can make 4 more people happy. Yes, I'm keeping spares for myself, I'm paranoid. Is it a little slow to drink? yep. However, when sealed, you can shake the hell out of it and it won't spill a drop and it fits in my Toyota cupholder just fine, thanks :).

vote-for4vote-against

They keep things hot for about an hour. As for odors i found that beer and nutritional supplements cause the cup to smell, coffee, tea, water, juice do not. Although all beverages will smell if you leave them inside with the cap tightened for several days.

ARRGG!!! I bought 2 of these the last time they were on here. Only problem is that I am reading every one's reviews and seeing how great it is. I had mine shipped to my house and since I am currently deployed, I had my wife hold on to them and now she is reaping the benefits of my labours, AGAIN! Though she did comment to me that she really liked it :D

vote-for2vote-against

I bought 3 of these last time. They are great! My husband is a farmer/rancher and is REALLY hard on stuff. They've held up to the abuse and won't spill a drop! Been waiting for them to come back so I can get some more.

vote-for0vote-against

NOT MICROWAVABLE! That's a dealbreaker! Why would anyone make a mug thats too tall and not microwavable? In my opinion, that is two strikes already.

vote-for1vote-against

I purcased 3 of these and they were a big dissapointment. They do not hold the heat. They go cold faster than the $2 one we own. Plus one fell apart the first time I washed it. And low and behold! Found the reason they don't hold any heat. The insied container is just plastic mold and there was abolutle NO insulation between it and the outside shell. I guess I got the "Lemons" in the bach?

vote-for-1vote-against

Sorry.. but these suck worse than the server errors when I try to get a Bundle Of Crud :-|

I bought these last time and thought I could actually drink from them.. i have two expensive business shirts that now have some 'modern art' on them since the opening is too small and the juice, coffee, whatever spilled from the top...

Oh.. and two of them fell apart as well... bah... l4m3...

vote-for3vote-against

I bought these last go around and am very pleased that I did. Last go around people were complaining that the lids were hard to put on, after having had these for a few weeks now I must say that any individual that has issues securing the lids on must be missing a few fingers and possibly a thumb and have never owned another travel mug. I honestly can say that putting the lid on is as easy as any other travel mug I have owned.

I love that they will seal completely, keeps the coffee nice and toasty much longer then a normal travel mug, have been tempted to throw some soup in there for lunch and what not but thinking the wife would not be too keen on me doing so. Well made, great price and piping hot coffee for hours, love em!

vote-for2vote-against

@smartheart: All six come in one carton, separated but not individually boxed. Just like on the shelf at the store. They each have their own label. I put them in wine bags from the dollar store at Christmas. Great mugs. Buying six more.

vote-for3vote-against

@dmaz: Don't forget the shipping when you consider the price -- it's 11 bucks not 6.

n.b. I am not commenting on the cost of this particular item; it's just beyond me when people calculate the cost of catalog/internet orders without adding in the shipping.

vote-for2vote-against

bought these a few months ago. Both leaked immediately. Very disappointed in this product, expecially form such a good name.

vote-for2vote-against

I bought two of these from Woot a while back. I use one every day and I adore it. Seals very well. However, it's not an aluminum interior so it will require cleaning and may retain colors and smells. I rinsed it with vinegar once and that seemed to do the trick quite nicely.

vote-for3vote-against

I bought 4 of these mugs! They seal the liquids well, but hard to open to drink from! They would not fit into any cupholders in my vehicles. I hoped to use them for golfing, but had to force the mug into the cupholder! Sorry Wooties, but not what I hoped for! Also, the rubber seal falls off easily. When you open to drink, it spills on your front.

vote-for1vote-against

I bought these last woot. I wouldn't do it again. I thought for sure they would be made in America, nope - they are not!!! They're an alright product, but this price is what they're worth; I don't really see a good deal.

Wouldn't recommend.

vote-for1vote-against

My husband and I each have one. He uses his WITH the lid partially screwed on, normally I use mine WITHOUT the lid (unless I'm in the car). The cups fit the cupholders in a Toyota Prius and in a Kia Sedona. Keep our coffee hotter much longer than a normal cup. Both of us love them.

Got my mugs in the mail yesterday and am drinking from one this morning. I like them so far with one minor complaint about the sticky goo holding the label on not coming off at all cleanly.

But I can live with that!

vote-for1vote-against

I've been using my mugs for the past few days. I am a little disappointed by them. Our coffee maker makes very hot coffee, fill these cups at 7:30 and by 9:00 I have cold coffee. I don't drink my coffee very fast and usually don't get settled in a start drinking it until 8:30 or so. I've had some very good Thermous mugs that stay hot until 11:00 and was hoping these were good enough until 10:00.

Second, the lids are a little funny. They work OK if you take your time putting them on, but if you are not quite level they won't close all the way. The rubber gasket might be causing it to not screw in right, as it does shift easily.

For the price, I can find cheap mugs at any local home store for similar or just a little more.

Don't buy these if you like hot coffee.

vote-for1vote-against

these things are COMPLETE JUNK, don't buy them PERIOD!
they are very awkward to drink out of, especially the bottom third of your beverage. and if you dumb enough to remove the lid, your drink splashes when you lower the cup. Ive used many travel mugs, and the way THIS lid is designed is completely useless (they might keep your beverage hot or cold for a long time -which is what folks seem to rave about above), but unless you want to pour the beverage into another cup to actually drink it, then these things SUCK.
