Kodak Easyshare W820 Wireless Digital Frame with Home Décor Kit for $99.95 + shipping
A Kodak Wireless Digital Frame can help you see pictures of your family, then also get you weather, sports, horoscopes and more! Sadly it will likely turn evil and destroy your life like all computers inevitably do.

Wow, this is a really good price on one of the more full-featured digital frames out there. Unfortunately, I only have retail shopping experience to compare, but I just bought one recently for my mom to have pictures of the kids. It was both more expensive and less features.
This is a pretty good buy and one of the few 8" frames under $100 that support video. The touch screen and wi-fi are really nice features too.
In for 1 for mom.

Good price... I see them ranging from 110-165.
I already own one and of course, paid more. The decor kit is actually an extra cost item, so the deal is even better. Good product too.
web content updates let you leave this at the grandparents house and you can keep it up to date remotely. very cool.
This is a very cool ful featured digital picture frame at a faboluos price. The only thing missing is the web-cam. I'm not too keen on the constant handling for web access or for just general use.
I've been looking for a decent WiFi frame for a while, but they never explain it well in their product brochures:
#1) Does it require a subscription service that might disappear one day?
#2) Does it require a PC to relay requests?
#3) Does it require any local interaction to force it to notice that I uploaded new pics to Flickr or does it just check automatically?
I have this frame and it's such a good frame I want another one. It does popular flickr feeds or specific ones you define. It pulls from facebook (both status updates and your friends photos). You can link a pc to it to quickly drag-and-drop pics from your desktop to the frame using installed software. I even have mine setup to tell me the score of whoever plays Green Bay.
Great effin' Frame!
These are very functional frames, but the on-screen interfaces are less then stellar. Also no Mac client software, although you can connect directly from a Mac browser. The net based connectivity (Flickr, RSS, etc) is great.
AWESOME deal!!! We had to ditch our Ceiva because of the subscription cost.
On my way to get one :)
I don't see where it says so, does anyone know if this has a remote to control it?
I've owned a similar device, and found that it's rather less than useful as a picture frame. The images aren't so great (certainly not as nice as an actual picture), they are not portable, a pain to load, the frame portion isn't that nice (it's plastic, not glass or walnut), and I would worry that they would break falling off a shelf.
Everyone should make their own judgement, but I found that it wasn't worth the trouble or the expense. Neat toy though !
This is great and I ordered one, but I was confused that the ordering section the website sent me to Kodak's site instead of my Woot account. I know I know, we should read before we leap, but it is not Totally Clear......
Thanks for putting up the slow one!
@scarchin: Yes! This frame is (a) bigger than the Ceiva frames, (b) the same as a one-year renewal for Ceiva, and (c) has no subscription cost, you can use sites like Flickr and Kodak Gallery for pictures.
In for 3!
just might have to do this
@splatsplat:
#1) Does it require a subscription service that might disappear one day?
No.
#2) Does it require a PC to relay requests?
No. It does require a Wifi connection.
#3) Does it require any local interaction to force it to notice that I uploaded new pics to Flickr or does it just check automatically?
It checks automatically according to your settings. If giving as a gift (as I will be doing) you should probably crack it open and set it up first to connect to your picture location of choice. From then on it shouldn't need any management.
Also FYI, Amazon has the 10" version of this for $152, also a good deal.
I have the EX810 (earlier model). Big limitations are it can only read/display JPG photos (not TIFFs or BMPs) and it drops signal if you have other wireless devices nearby. After hours trying to keep mine going wirelessly (so I'd only have to update the photos on my home server) I gave up and bought a memory card for mine.. Maybe this one's better, but I just thought I'd share my experience since this may not be the wireless solution that you think it is..
I have never known of anyone (non-technical) to have any success with a digital picture frame. Everyone I know, who has given one of these as a gift to a mom, grandma, and etc, reports back some months later that it either sits turned off (we didn't want to waste the electricity) or never updated with new photos.
Good luck on this one...
@danrobbins: The cool thing about this frame, in regards to the electricity comment, is that it turns on and off automagically.
I was tempted but the reviews on Amazon give me cold feet.
Same price in Amazon....
same price in Amazon, and if you read the reviews there, not very good
wow... reviews are awful. can anyone confirm?

This is a heck of a deal
When they first put this site online, it was a mess. Nice to see they've come a long way baby! Nice frame, nice price...wireless. Gotta love it.
Looks like a good deal.
I've been waiting for wireless digital frames as I've thought they were the only thing that made sense in this space. I bought a W820 a couple months ago during another promotion. Fantastic! Does alot more than just displaying photos. Software to support it now supports Windows 7 as well. web based and desktop based software to support it. can store photos or can have folders monitors on pc or NAS for new photos to be displayed. You can have friends and family contribute photos via the web to be displayed on the frame. Looking forward to my second frame in creating a digital photo wall in my office amongst some traditional framed prints.
@nancio: You're right re: same priace as Amazon. Either priced for the the holidays or they are getting ready to replace with a new line of wireless frames. They are very good. Have been enjoying one wirelessly for the last few months. Might actually cancel that purchase and buy it from trusty old Amazon instead.
