I'm still waiting for the real sales on the quality TVs.

What's a quality TV? My first HDTV was a Samsung and it died in just over a year. My parents bought one a few years later (against my advice), the same happened to them. Same thing with a friend of mine. From what I've found, Sharp makes a pretty decent TV.

Amazon has the 757U which sells for $100 more than the 755U on Sharp's website for $1279.

Or you could get TWO plasmas..... I mean really....

I bought a 64" and a 60" plasma for a combined $1,500 Picture is ridiculously phenomenal. No 3D, but I've had a 3D TV and at this point it really just a gimmick. Get a Chromecast for the smart features.

I actually have this TV and it is really good. This is in retrospect to my other TV which are Samsung 7500 series and LG Infinia. I don't have any problems with any of my TVs, but I like this Sharp unit the most. I feel the Samsungs are overrated, as my family only buys them, but for now this Sharp is my favorite as long as it doesn't crap out.
