@mfladd: i'm looking at it now in my Kindle Reader for PC program and i see color photos. does the real Kindle device also show color for photos? i don't have a real e-reader or Kindle, just this PC download and some other free e-books with no pics

@w00tgurl: I can't speak to that (I have a NooK, Shhhhh.) I don't have either nook or kindle app on my PC.

Amazon don't forsake me - I might actually root the NooK which would give me apps for both stores. I am just not sure yet. Were still friends, right?

@mfladd: You don't have to root the nook. Install honeycomb (or your preferred Android version) to a microsd card via instructions online, and you don't have to mod your nook's firmware or anything at all, it simply boots to the sd card, you take the sd card out, and you have your normal nook!

EDIT: I thought it hilarious when I put the Kindle app on my Nook :D

Thank you to everyone for adding all the extra information. I never new or for that matter looked into eBooks. I just love the Beatles and posted after finding the deal. Now I have the PC version and have found myself downloading eBooks. Never thought I would read after school but this changes everything.
