Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 Slate for $9.99
This is the best price I've seen for a new Microsoft 3000 mouse. I bought mine for $19.99 a couple of years ago; for this price, I'll buy a backup/one for the travel bag. Best Buy is offering free shipping too.
This is not a refurb. I don't know why deals.woot changed the title.
@mscalbear: Title corrected. We are looking into the original edit.
I bought 3 of these (MS3000) a few years back and still use them daily. Great battery life, as long as you turn it off by putting the receiver into the base of the mouse when not in use (estimate I get between 4 and 6 months per battery with the mouse in use for 8 hours a day M-F). The receiver can be a little obtrusive (I've seen others that fit into the usb port snugly with a very low profile) but for the money this is a great value. Might pick up another spare for myself ;)
Awesome price for a great little mouse. I am usually a Logitech fan myself but I can say this little Microsoft mouse has a great battery life and actually fits men and women's hands equally well.
Thanks for the post! I have one of these and they are great. This was $14.99 on sale at the local brick and mortar store last week and I was thinking about getting a spare one, but now I'm glad I waited. I agree with the other posters - the battery life is amazing - I think my mouse is going on 6 months on the same battery. Good deal
I've been using one of these for a year now and it's pretty good. But I'm in the market for a small unified/nano receiver. That way I can leave the receiver in my laptop permanently. I believe the unit auto shuts off even if the receiver remains in the laptop.
Does anyone know if this has a click wheel or a smooth rolling wheel?
Nice to have deals like this. Not bad for $10
@nautilus34:
it has a click wheel
thee on i have has been chewed pretty bad my bog is skitzo about lights but it works a little less smooth battery lasts even if you dont turn it off
I've had one of these for about 3 years now. It's great, the battery lasts forever. I paid $20 for mine so this is a good deal.
Not seeing the option for free shipping on this
@daveyoung: sorry, it looks like Best Buy is not longer offering free shipping with this. It was still free as of yesterday :( - perhaps you might be lucky and the mouse might be available for pick up at your local Best Buy so you can save on shipping cost.
I bought one of these for about $30 when I got my laptop a couple years ago. Loved it so much, got one for the wife when she got her laptop last year -- probably around $25. At this price, I may have to buy a back-up or two. Great little device, and battery-friendly, as others have mentioned. Hopefully they still have them at my local store.
