Not powerful enough, light snow only.
You need a two-stage gas blower for every sizable snow storm.

We get snow maybe 4 or 5 times in a bad year. If we get more than 4 inches, we have someone who will come and plow out our driveway. If we get 2 or 3 inches, our Snow Joe from Walmart does the job nicely.

We haven't used it so far this year, but it's had maybe 5 or 6 outings in the last few years. It's still a bit of work, but it's a lot easier than shovelling (and you're now working in a cloud of gasoline exhaust!)

So I wouldn't recommend it if you have snow on the ground from December to April, or you only have snow when a blizzard comes through and dumps a foot at a time once every few years, but if you get enough snow that you have to shovel 3 or 4 times a year, this is worth considering.
