@bsalusa: Based on what I've heard in real life from people who have tried these devices, I didn't think I'd be doing anyone a service by promoting it as a deal. At most I'll post links to better prices when junk like this has already been made popular, just so people aren't throwing away quite so much money. :-)

@brossow: These are mostly recommended for individuals with infirmities, rather than for able-bodied people. It can help those who cannot normally open jars.

@bsalusa: I know, and that's the type of people I've heard from who haven't been happy with their devices. The feedback I've heard is that it's fine with most lids, but it just can't handle anything that isn't easily handled by an average person without disability (age, arthritis, etc.). So my opinion based on that is that this is better than nothing but disappointing due to its inability to open ALL jars. Most is better than none, but not at the moment you REALLY want that particular jar open and this thing just won't do it.
