@wootmeharder: at least @lichme noted it in the title. while i have dirty words for MIRs, i have MUCH worse words for deal posters who don't note it in the title.

I downloaded the technical spec sheet from Patriot. What a joke. All I get is the physical dimensions and color choices. Nothing mentioned about (read/write) performance.The lack of info tells me that it's a dog.
MIR? Usually offered on "end to life" products or "goofs".
After tax (on the list price), postage, mailing material, time, 12 week wait, going to the bank to cash it!
I NEVER BUY ANYTHING WITH A REBATE!

First it didn't arrive
Multiple phone calls lasting up to 20 mins wait time...(thanx google voice)
Then a check after 3 months dated for expiry before it arrived....
seems to me to be just a huge con and for what? An average performance stick.....
