Sears is advertising a $119.99 Garden Oasis Leisure Lounger w/ Canopy for $49. Too bad they won't honor it.

What do you mean they won't honor it? Prices drops to $49 when you add to cart and go to check-out.

@rookie3001: You are right; it is working now. However, it was not working earlier today. Below is an excerpt from my online conversation with the Sears agent.

Paxton: Thank you for choosing Sears.com. How may I help you today?

you: I have a question about the Deal of the day and why the price is not displaying correctly?
you: Should be $49.99 each, but is listed as $119.99 each in my cart.

Paxton: I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to you with the deal of the Day item.
Paxton: Yes, I have checked the records I apologize for the inconvenience with the pricing error of the item.
Paxton: I checked and I see that there is a web page error with the pricing of this item. However, I thank you for bringing this to our notice. I have queued this issue to our product specialist. We will take care of this concern soon.
Paxton: I suggest that you refresh the page and add the item to the cart again.

Paxton: The price after adding it to the cart, will be the final price for the item.
Paxton: However, the price of the item comes down within 14 days the money will be refunded to you.

you: So it is not $49.99 as advertised?

Paxton: I am sorry, the price is $119.99 and I have escalated this issue to the product specialist department and I will make sure that you will not face the problem in the future.
Paxton: I am truly sorry for the frustration and inconvenience caused because of the pricing error.
Paxton: I understand your concern and this is very unusual. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
